I'm having an issue with not being able to see projects or connect to an account manager within boinctui while using Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS running on a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB model. The weird thing is, I was able to successfully set this up on another raspberry pi same model using the same ubuntu code last week, and it's currently running without a hitch. I have four additional Raspberry Pi 4 8GB Models that I am trying to configure and every time I install boinctui, it does not allow me to add a project or connect to an account manager. There is nothing listed when I select both of those options. I also have tried reinstalling the OS a few times. Unfortunately, I can't downgrade to 18.4.4 because it does not support the Raspberry Pi 4 8GB model I guess. boinctui version is listed as 2.5.0 I just dont understand how I was able to get one of the Raspberry Pi's to work with the same OS and version of boinctui, and this week I cant. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

**Update - I ran a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04.1 on a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB, and set up the unit from an SSH session instead of directly connecting to it. Once I used Putty, I was able to see the Projects listed and successfully configured Rosetta@home using boinctui. I am working in the third unit now and we will see if it works again. Maybe an issue with the resolution not letting me see the options under the projects tab when I am directly attached to the Raspberry Pi with the HDMI and mouse/keyboard? Stay Tuned... |
